I am a huge fan of the YA genre and young adult fantasy series are my absolute jam. There’s nothing like getting super immersed in a magical world, in fierce characters and romantic relationships, in a daring and captivating plot — it’s the best!
When I first started my journey of reading young adult fantasy series, I spent hours scouring Google for comprehensive lists that included some of the most popular and not-so-popular series out there. I didn’t have a ton of luck, so thank goodness for my bookstagram friends opening my eyes to so many amazing ones

30+ Young Adult Fantasy Series You Won’t Want to Put Down
I’ve rounded up a list of some of my personal favorites and some that are widely loved on bookstagram and GoodReads!
Keep in mind, this list is solely for YA fantasy books. There will be other blogs for Sci-Fi and Dystopian book series down the road! I also did not include middle-grade fantasy series (except for Harry Potter, because how can I not include it?)
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
This loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast is one of my faves. A Court of Thorns & Roses involving faes, a wicked kingdom, and a human heroine trying to save them all. These books are definitely more NA for their smuttiness, but if you love fantasy books with a strong romance plot, you’ll adore this YA series.
